InnerGlowGut (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates https://innerglowgut.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the Site you agree to this policy.
1. Who we are
We publish editorial content about gut health, the gut-skin axis, and related wellness topics. We are an independent publisher. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Contact: yeadw99@qq.com
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you subscribe to our email list or contact us, we collect the email address you provide, and any name or message you choose to include. Providing an email address is optional; you can read the Site without doing so.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers and analytics tools record standard technical data when you visit: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and timestamps. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies and local storage for basic site functionality, for analytics, and to remember your preferences. See section 5 for details and how to control them.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and we do not collect sensitive categories of personal data.
3. How we use information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and its content;
- To send the emails you asked for, such as our free guide and follow-up wellness tips;
- To respond to your questions or requests;
- To measure which content is useful, in aggregate;
- To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, spam, and abuse;
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal effects.
4. Email communications
If you subscribe, we store your email address with our email service provider and send you the content you requested. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to remove you at any time by emailing us. We keep a suppression record of unsubscribes so we do not contact you again.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use a privacy-respecting, cookie-less or low-identifier analytics service to understand aggregate traffic patterns, such as which pages are most read and which countries visitors come from. This helps us decide what to write next.
You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect some site features, but the content remains readable. Where required by law, we ask for consent before setting non-essential cookies.
6. Third parties we work with
We share limited data with service providers who help us run the Site, and only to the extent needed:
- Email marketing provider — stores subscriber email addresses and delivers our emails.
- Affiliate networks and merchants — when you click a product link, the merchant or network may set a cookie or receive a referral identifier so that a resulting purchase can be attributed. We do not receive your payment details.
- Hosting and analytics providers — process technical data described in section 2.
These providers are contractually restricted from using your data for their own purposes. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.
7. Affiliate disclosure
Some links on this Site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This never affects our editorial recommendations, and we aim to be honest about both the benefits and the limitations of any product we discuss.
8. External links
The Site links to third-party websites, including merchant and product pages. We are not responsible for the content, terms, or privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to read their policies before providing personal information.
9. Data retention
We keep subscriber email addresses until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Aggregated analytics data may be retained longer because it does not identify you. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us at yeadw99@qq.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
12. International transfers
Our service providers may store or process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
